 - Vocabulary: New Year, Children’s Day, Teachers’Day, Christmas, smart

 - Differentiated teaching:
 + Incomplete ss: can talk about the upon festivals and when they are.
 + Well-completed ss: can talk about the upon festivals , other festivals and when they are.

 * Procedure:
 >Run through the song by the picture
-T reads the song, sts listen and repeat, ask the meaning of the song.
- The whole class listen to the song, point to the lines, remember the tune.
- Sing along with the recording.
- Groups sing.
- Some volunteer sts sing in front of class.
  Consolidation:
- Content: Review the song and form.

- Procedure:

- make Banh Chung: làm bánh Chưng
- decorate the house: trang trí nhà
- watch firework displays: xem pháo hoa
- visit grandparents: thăm ông bà
* Checking voc: rub out and remember

 B: I wear nice clothes.

> Sts observe the pictures on page 32 and think: Who are they? (Linda & Mai); What are they talking

> Sts look at the sentences in their books, listen to the tape 2 times and circle. 
-Sts share the result with a partner (share what they have just listened if someone is wrong)
- Call 4 representatives in 2 groups present the result.
- Other sts comment.
- T plays the tape again and checks the answer with the whole class.
- The group has more correct answers will be the winner.
