I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the period, Sts will be able to:
 + Use the words and phrases related to the topic Food and Drink
 + Ask and answer questions about favourite food and drink.
 Using What’s your favourite food / drink ? It’s..
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4
 * Language focus: 
 - Vocabulary:beef , pork , chicken , fish , water , orange juice, milk.
 - Strucrure: - Using What’s your favourite food / drink ? It’s..
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.
 - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.
III. Method: Communicative Language Teaching, Work individually, pairwork, groupwork.
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up: Shark attack - FOOD / DRINK
 - T divides the class into 2groups In turn, 1 st stands up & says out 1 letter randomly if there 
is that letter in the key word, that group doesn’t go down & if there isn’t that letter, that group will 
go down 1 step (weak sts are prioritized).
 - The winner is the group find out the key word first or go down least.
 Activity 2: Presentation:
 Look, listen and repeat

 + Chicken ( Visual ) + Water (visual)
 + Fish (visual) + Orange juice (visual)

 Period 86 Lesson 1 (3, 4, 5)
I. Objectives:
 * By the end of this lesson, Sts will be able to: 
 + listen to someone use the name of the food/ drink in the dialogues.
 - Good sts : listen & read well the name of the food/ drink.
 - Weak sts : listen & tick correctly. 
 + listen and use the pattern in listening and writing
 + sing the song: “ My favourite food and drink”.
 * Language focus: 
 - Structure: A: What’s your favourite food / drink?
 B: It’s _______________.
 - Differentiated teaching:
 + Incomplete Ss: can hear the key words.
 + Well-completed Ss: can hear the whole sentences.
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.
 - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.
III. Method:
 - Communicative Language Teaching/Work individually, pairwork, groupwork. 
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up Kim’s game
 - T shows the words in the poster& runs through the time, then he asks Ss in 2 teams to look 
 through and write the words they remember on the board, T checks and gives feedback.

 - Use the words and phrases related to the topic .
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 3, act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 2 , act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4
 * Language focus: 
 - Vocabulary: bread , rice , vegetables , noodles , lemonade . 
 - Structure : Would you like some noodles ? -Yes, please.
 -No,thanks.
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD.
 - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.
III. Method: Communicative Language Teaching/Total Physical Response/Natural Approach
 Work individually, pairwork, groupwork.

 - Listen to 4 dialogues about people’s favourite food & drink, number the picture correctly. 
 -Write the words food & drink
 * Language focus: 
 - Voc :
 - Pattern : 1.What’s your favourite food/ drink? It’s .
 2. Would you like some .? Yes, please. / No, thanks.
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: Textbook – workbook, poster of warmer, pictures .
 - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards.
III. Method: Communicative Language Teaching / Work individually, pairwork, groupwork. 
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up Slap the board ( Food and Drink )
 -T divides class into 2 groups, Ss make two lines.
 - One by one student slap to the word they hear ( T read or good Ss read )
 - T checks and gives feedback.
 Activity 2: Listen and number ( p.21) 
 * Procedure:
 - T shows the pictures on board - T & good sts run through the pictures.
 - Sts‘ prediction the pictures’ order.
 - T plays recording 3times, sts listen & number the Ss hear (individually).
 - Sts share with their partner.
 - let weak or average sts correct on board. (let good sts tell the words they can hear)

I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to 
 - Pronounce correctly the sound of “f, sh"
 - Chant “ Would you like some fish?” well.
 - Ss can develop some following competences: 
 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1, act 3
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1, act 2, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 1, act 2, act 3
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 3
 * Language focus: 
 - Sound: “ f, sh ”.
 - Chant: “Would you like some milk?”
 - Differentiated teaching:
 + Incomplete Ss: can pronounce the sounds ‘f’ and “ sh” and listen and write
 + Well-completed Ss: can pronounce the sounds f and sh , listen and write and chant well.

 - Write about themselves.

 + Communicative and collaborative competence: act 1,act 4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 2, act 3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, act 3, act 4
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4
 * Language focus: 
 - Reading skill / Writing skill.
 II. Materials:
 - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards,CD.
 -Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards
III. Method: Communicative Language Teaching / Work individually, pairwork, groupwork. 
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up Nought and Crosses
