I. Objectives:
 * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 -correctly identify and pronounce the words eleven, twelve, thirteen, 
 fourteen,fifteen, brother, sister, grandmother
 -correctly spell the words eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, brother, 
 sister, grandmother
 -write and correctly say the sentence structures What number is it? It’s_____
 and How old is your__________? He’s/she’s ________(age)
 - Ss can develop some following competences
 + Communicative and collaborative competence:act 1,3,4
 + Problem-solving competence: act 1,3
 + Self-studying and self-control competence: act 2, 3,4 
 + Problem-solving and creative competence: act 4
 *Language focus: 
 - Sound: N/er
 - Vocabulary: eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, brother, sister, 
grandmother
 - Differentiated teaching: 
 + Incomplete ss: can pronounce the name of the letter N/er in the words 
eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, brother, sister, grandmother
 + Well-completed ss: can pronounce the name of the letter N/er in the words 
eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, brother, sister, grandmother while listening
II. Materials:
 -Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards,CD.
 -Students’: books, crayons
III. Method:
 -Communicative Language Teaching
 -Total Physical Response
 -Natural Approach
 -3Ps
III. Teaching activities:
 Activity 1: Warm up +Write What number is it? on the board. En courage pupils to read and write 
the word to answer the question .Go around the class to offer help, if necessary
 +Have pupils say the complete sentence aloud. Do this several times, with 
pupils saying the sentence both individually and in chorus. Correct their prounciation 
if necessary, and praise them when their pronunciation is good.
 + Repeat the same procedure with sixteen, eleven and nineteen. Give further 
support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
 + Ask pupils to work in pairs or in group
 + Invite some pairs to point to the picture and say the questions and the 
answers in front of the class.
 Activity 4: 
 -Content 4: Let’s play 
 - Procedure:
 + Divide class into two groups
 + Ask Ss of two groups play game
 + Congratulate the winner
  Consolidation:
 - Content: Review the letter P/K and words (pasta, popcorn,pizza, 
 kite,bike and kitten)
 - Procedure:
 + Ask Ss to answer the following questions:
 What have you learnt from the lesson today? 
 What are the core values of the lesson? ( if the teacher can take 
 from the lesson). 
 + Praise some Ss who are hard working/ active/ good. as well as 
 encourage others to try more.
 + Give feedback 
  Homework:
 - Learn by heart the words : eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, 
brother, sister, grandmother
