OBJECTIVES By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge o Review the vocabulary and grammar of Unit 1 o Apply what they have learnt into practice through a project 2. Core competence o Develop communication, presentation & critical thinking skills and creativity o Be collaborative and supportive in pairwork and teamwork o Actively join in class activities 3. Personal qualities o Be more creative when doing the project o Develop self-study skills LESSON 7: LOOKING BACK & PROJECT WARM-UP Mini game: Design a restaurant Stage aims: ➢ To create an active atmosphere in the class before the lesson; ➢ To lead into the new lesson. LESSON 7: LOOKING BACK & PROJECT WARM-UP Mini game: What can you make? • Task 1: Add the words and phrases you have learnt in the correct VOCABULARY columns. Compare with your partner's. REVIEW • Task 2: Read the recipe and write sentences as in the example. Stage aim: To help Ss revise the vocabulary items they have learnt in the unit. VOCABULARY REVIEW 2 Read the recipe and write sentences as in the example. Suggested answers: We need 5 eggs. Ingredients We need 2 tomatoes. eggs: 5 We need 2 tablespoons of cold water. tomatoes: 2 We need 40 grams of butter. cold water: 2 tbsp butter: 40 g We need 5 grams of onion. onion: 5 g We need 1 teaspoon of salt. salt: 1 tsp We need a teaspoon of pepper. pepper: 1 tsp GRAMMAR REVIEW 3 Complete the sentences. Write some, any, much, or a lot of/ lots of. 1. I have to go to the market now. There isn't food _________any for our dinner. 2. Would you like _________some sugar for your coffee? 3. There are ______________a lot of/ lots of trees in our village, so the air here is very fresh. 4. I'm very busy, I have ______________a lot of/ lots of things to do today. 5.
