 • Task 1: Match the phrases with the pictures. Then listen, 
 check, and repeat the phrases. 
 VOCABULARY • Task 2: Write the words and phrases in the correct columns. 
 • Task 3: Work in pairs. Ask and answer about the ingredients for 
 Linh’s apple pie.

Step 1: Preparation
2 groups: Mums and Daughters/Sons LINH'S APPLE PIE
+ Daughters/Sons prepare some questions to ask Ingredients: 
Mums how to cook the apple pie.
Daughters/Sons: How many apples do we need? apples -12 
 salt -1 tsp
+ Mums use the information from the table to sugar - 300 g 
prepare ingredients for an apple pie, then instruct milk - 300 ml 
their daughters/sons how to make an apple pie. water - 120 ml 
Mums: We need 12 apples.
